Winnipeg & Ingrams Gambia Appeal

Winnipeg Beavers won the Standard award given out at St Georges Day Parade. This was for the charity support we as a colony have given to a school in The Gambia. All the Beavers collected lots of clothing, laptops, mobile phones, pens books etc and I went out to The Gambia with my family at Easter to hand deliver the items. The Gambia Experience travel company supported us with allowing us extra luggage space.
The support continues we are raising much needed funds to complete 2 extra classrooms there to offer education to many young children. Our saying at Beavers is 'In our World of plenty we can spread a smile of joy.'
The Beavers are keen to help others, we are working on the International badge to make us all aware.
