Sutton Scouts Host Belgium Scouts

1st Sutton at Hone Scout Group unexpectedly played hosts to 13 Belgium scouts on Thursday night. They were found in Dartford with nowhere to say. They were given some amazing hospitality by Bar Mondo in Dartford. A customer of theirs contacted 1st Sutton at Hone Scout Group who picked them up and bedded them down for the night in their hall. They were all older Explorer scout aged, and they all wanted to become leaders, before they could do that they needed to do an expedition to challenge themselves. We met them on day 10 of this challenge. No accommodation had been arranged for this trip and one of their challenges was to arrive at their destination and then to ask local people to help them find somewhere for the night. Every night they had successfully done that thanks to the generosity of people. It was a privilege to help these young people who were an absolute credit to Scouting.
