St. Georges Day Parade & Service 2013
Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Leaders, Helpers, Family & Friends packed turned out in force to meet by the Bandstand where we held our annual service. We were joined by Dartford Guides and Councillors and special guests from Dartford.
Mick got everyone moving (the leaders a little less enthusiastically) with his quiz, a question for each section. After a few songs and the renewal of the promises, presentation of the district standard to the Stone Group, the District was addressed by the Acting District Commissioner, Paul Abel, before marching off around the park to be judged on the smartest group.
A great morning was had by all, probably helped by the lovely warm sunny weather.
