3D2J Update 9th January 2012

Happy New Year!
Just a very short update for 3DJ2.
Plans continue to be developed for the Jamboree with a meeting scheduled for later in January to start to put some more details onto the programme and activities.
Please don't forget that we really do need a good idea of how many people are coming by the end of the month. Everyone should already have the paperwork and forms but if you need anymore information please do let me know ASAP. You should also have had access to flyers to hand out to all your members. They were put in the pigeon holes at Scout House before Christmas (thanks Cavan).
To enable us to put on a wide range of activities we will need a lot of adult help. Have you though about identifying some parents to help with your group. Don't forget everyone attending needs to have been CRBed so don't leave it to the last minute.
In the last update I asked if leaders wanted any have a god sessions for themselves – to date I have had zero response. Do let us know if there are any events / activities you want for leaders.
People have asked if we will have access to the campsite on the Thursday evening. The answer is yes but there will be campers on site. It would be extremely helpful if groups could let me know if they would like to drop kit and or / pitch tents on the Thursday evening. We will try to meet group wishes but you will have to work with us and please give us as much notice as possible.
One final question – we are thinking of offering a camp t shirt (at cost). I would be interesting in hearing from groups who think they have a good cheap supplier.
